Here is my ideal neighborhood map from last class! It consists of a local park, a restaurant / shopping center, a playground, a pool, a hospital, a fire / police station, a school, lots of houses, and plenty of parking lots. One of my biggest anxieties comes from a lack of easy parking situations so I included three separate parking lots to combat this stress. I approached this project by starting with essentials for schools and for children before expanding to other aspects of the neighborhood. There is more I would have added if I had more time, such as a bank, gas station, office buildings, etc. to make the neighborhood complete. I very much enjoyed creating this neighborhood and it made me realize how I look at the world.
